Chapter 1 - Time of Revival

Early on a Wednesday morning, the sun is just starting to rise over the
familiar surroundings of the human world. The new light, gently glides
through a window and settles on a pink alarm clock.
*BEEP*
A groan emerges from under pink blankets. A blonde girl raises her head and
stares at the alarm clock frowning. Her emerald green eyes settle on the
‘off’ button and she presses it once. It was 6 o’clock. “Why did I put my
alarm on? It is the first day of the holidays for goodness sake!” She pulls
her blankets away and stares at the posters on her wall. Most of them are of
Orlando Bloom. She turns again to her alarm clock in disbelief and she
realizes why she had wanted to wake early. Next to her clock is a picture
frame of pink stars. The picture of her boyfriend, Kouichi. She warmly
remembers of the fight that changed their opinions of each other.
*FLASHBACK*
“WHY DO YOU GET TO CHOOSE WHAT THESE CHILDREN CAN OR CANNOT DO????” shouted
Kouichi. “HEY! Don’t shout at ME!” said Kitty back to him. Kouichi frowned,
“Fine! I won’t yell then, but you still haven’t answered my question!” Kitty
frowned, “OK! I can’t choose what is best for them, but I know that it is
not at all nice to be alone, with no one to protect you. One day Angemon
will not be there for them. They will be all alone, scared, and open to
attacks. And do you think someone like, oh maybe, The Royal Knights, will
hesitate to attack and kill them?” said Kitty. Kouichi paused, “…No one
protected you? But, you have Midnightmon and she is really strong.” Kouichi
said confused. “Yeah, well, Midnightmon wasn’t always with me. I had to look
after myself. With no one else. No sprit yet…No…friends…no……family.” Kitty’s
eyes started to fill with tears. Her shoulders began to shake and her hands
covered her face as she fell to the floor in a wave of tears. Kouichi,
shocked at this, gingerly bent down next to her. “Kitty…I…didn’t…” Kitty
shook her head. “No, it’s my fault. I never told anyone. No one else knows
in this world…” Kitty started crying again. Kouichi moved away a little, but
then moved nearer and put one hand on her shoulder. “You can tell me…If you
want to, that is…” Kitty looked up into his dark eyes. She felt safe, warm.
She nodded, and she took a deep breath, “Back at home, I am alone. My
parents both died in an aeroplane crash when I was three. I can’t remember
them much. They never did have time for me though…I lived in the mansion
they left for me, all alone. Only the servants and my strict, nasty nurse
looked after me. I fired her three years ago though,” Kitty added with an
evil grin, “I came to the Digital World a year ago. Can you believe it? For
a long time, I was on my own. I had to do every thing by myself. I had to
fight Digimon who attacked me on my own. If I hadn’t had gone to those
Martial Arts classes, I would have died a long time ago! Sure Ophanimon
talked to me once in a while, but I never saw her. She eventually led me to
Midnightmon. Then Midnightmon protected me and was my friend. About a month
before I met you guys, I found the Sprit of Stars. That was the only time
that I felt safe.” Kouichi nodded. ‘Now I understand why she was so
aggressive. She was defenceless and the only way she knew how to survive was
kill or be killed. Well, I’ll help her through this.’ Kouichi thought.
“Kitty?” he asked. “Yes, Kouichi?” “Well, I…I am going to help you.” Kitty
opened her mouth, “Sure?” Kouichi nodded, “Remember Kitty, The Warriors of
Darkness and Stars once helped each other long ago, and they will today.”
Kitty smiled, “Thank you Kouichi.” She said. Then she blushed, ‘Kouichi, The
Warriors of Darkness and Stars didn’t only help each other, they were in
love. I wonder, can the Darkness love the Stars again?’

‘I guess I was right!’ Kitty thought. Kitty walked over to her closet and
picked out her favourite outfit. It was the outfit she had worn in the
Digital World. She clipped on her top, pulled her skirt on, tied the
high-heeled shoes and brushed her blonde hair. She carefully pulled her pink
fringe down next to her ear. ‘Perfect! I’m ready.’ Kitty walked down to the
lounge where she saw her black Digimon, Midnightmon. Although Midnightmon
looked like a black Gatomon, she was quite different. Kitty loved her very
much. She shook the little cat’s body and one cherry eye opened. “Today is
the day!” Kitty happily announced. “The day you marry Kouichi?” Midnightmon
sniggered. “NO! It is our reunion!” “Oh right!” Midnightmon yawned and
stretched. “What’s for breakfast?” Kitty shook her head. “We are having
breakfast with the others and then we are spending the day at the beach.”
Midnightmon nodded and stretched again. Kitty gasped. “Where’s my bikini?”
Midnightmon shrugged. “No, not now… where is it?” Kitty rushed to the
cupboard and searched through its contents. “It must already be in my
bag…yes it is. That was close!” “Yeah,” Midnightmon nodded, “Close…” “Come
on lazy paws. We will be late, we still need to get there!”

By the café on the beachfront sat two familiar boys. Both looked very much
alike, maybe they are twins? Kouichi and Kouji sat down at the café and
waited for the others to arrive. They were both wearing their Digimon
clothes, seeing as it was a reunion. “Who do you think will be here next?”
Kouji asked. “I…don’t…know.” said Kouichi, he was looking past Kouji trying
to spot someone. “Hey, Kouji, Kouichi!” Tommy ran up to the table. Tommy was
also wearing his old clothes, although he was older now and very much more
mature. “Hi Tommy.” Kouji said. “How have you been?” Kouichi asked. “Fine,
missing the Digital World, but that’s all…” Kouji nodded. He also missed the
Digital World. After the destroyed Lucemon, they never did see the redone
product of the Digital World. Tommy sat down opposite Kouji. “I saw Zoë and
Takuya coming this way. They should be here soon…” At that moment a boy
wearing goggles and a girl wearing a blue and purple hat came around the
corner. (Writer: They came around the corner of the corner café! Get it????)
“Hey guys, what’s up?” asked Takuya, who was much older but still as cute as
ever. “Hi, guys!” Zoë said smiling at Kouji. “Hey Zoë.” Kouji got up to meet
her and gave her a small kiss on the lips. Takuya sat down next to Tommy.
Zoë sat down next to Kouji. “Is Lucy here?” Kouichi shook his head, “Only
us!” “And me!” said a voice. J.P came around along the beach and waved to
everyone, he too was wearing his Digimon clothes. “Hi.” Said everyone. J.P
sat down next to Tommy. After a minuet or two of talking a black cat jumped
onto Kouichi’s lap. “Midnightmon!” “Kitty and Lucy are coming now.” She
purred. As if on cue, Kitty and Lucy came over to the table through the
cafe, they waved and came to the table. “Takuya!” Lucy went over to him and
kissed him on the lips. Kouichi stared at Kitty. Kitty came over to Kouichi
and they kissed deeply. Lucy sat next to Takuya and Kitty sat next to
Kouichi, opposite Lucy. “I’ll see you at home?” asked Midnightmon to Kitty.
“Sure Midnightmon, I’ll call if I need help.”

“So, that we are all here, WHO WANTS FOOD?” Takuya said. A waitress came and
took their orders. Kouji ordered bacon, eggs, toast and chips. Zoë ordered
croissants with jam and cream. Lucy had a stack of pancakes with syrup.
Kouichi and Kitty both ordered waffles with syrup and cream. Takuya, Tommy
and J.P ordered hamburgers. (“For breakfast?” asked everyone, “Yeah, we need
our beef!” Said Takuya.) After everyone had eaten, the fight started about
who was going to pay. Kouji and Kouichi insisted they paid, because they
chose the restaurant. Lucy said she should because she wasn’t a
Digidestined. Takuya said she shouldn’t pay because she wasn’t a
Digidestined. Tommy sat and stared from one arguing person to another. Zoë
said she should pay, but J.P said he would always pay for anything she
bought while in his company. “Great J.P, I saw this amazing diamond necklace
that cost in the millions, now you can buy that for me!” J.P went red and
stared at his empty plate, muttering about he wasn’t made of money. In all
the commotion Kitty gave the waitress the money and when she came back with
sweets, everyone was a little surprised. “OK, who paid?” asked Kouji. “I
did. You were all so busy fighting that it was easy for me to get away with
it. And I should have paid anyway because I think, and correct me if I am
wrong, that I am the one who could afford it the most.” Everyone nodded.
“That’s true…” said Tommy. The group knew that Kitty was an orphan who
stayed in a huge mansion. Her parents were both very successful. Her mom was
a fashion designer and a super model, while her dad was one of the highest
paid businessmen in the world. When they died, all their money went to
Kitty, their only child, so she had more money than she could put on a
calculator. (Plus all the growing shares she had!)

After the money argument the group headed for the beach. Each went into
separate changing rooms and then onto the beach. Kouichi was wearing black
board shorts with dark purple flames on them. Kouji wore blue board shorts
with white waves on them. Takuya wore black board shorts with red and orange
flames. Tommy wore yellow board shorts and J.P had a dire green full body
costume on. (J.P’s pride.) All the boys went into the waves while the girls
took their time. Zoë came out with a dazzling purple full-length costume on,
with a raindrop cut out on her stomach. Next Lucy came out with a bikini
with blue and green palms on it with the sea in the background. Lastly Kitty
emerged with a revealing pink bikini with gold rings keeping the material
together. The three girls made their way to the beach to tan. After 15min,
the boys came out. Kouichi, Kouji and Takuya were… flabbergasted, by their
girlfriend’s costumes.

The rest of the day involved building sand castles, swimming in the gentle
waves. As the sun was beginning to set through the pale sky, the group sat
on the beach, the girls in their boyfriend’s arms, watching the sunset. The
time came for them to pack up and head home for supper. Just then through
the waves came the triangular shapes of shark fins. The group watched them
from the safety of the beach, but they were not sharks, they were… “Look,
that’s no shark!” said J.P. “It looks more like a turtle to me…” said Lucy.
The strange creatures came out of the waves. They looked like turtles with
shark fins and razors. The largest one came out of the waves, smiling in an
unfriendly way. “You are the humans who are so dangerous? Pathetic! The
Archelomon will destroy you all!” “They are Digimon!” said Kitty. Digimon in
the real world? “Attack!!” said the leader. The group nodded at each other.
“Time to take out the trash!” said Takuya.
EXECUTE…SPRIT EVOLUTION!
Lucy watched in amazement, as her friends became Digimon. The battle began…
“HOWLING LASER!” “HURRICANE WAVE!” “PYRO TORNADO!” “ THUNDER FIST!” “CRYSTAL
FREEZE!” “SHADOW METEOR!” “STAR LIGHT TWISTER!” The attacks hit, a few
Archelomon fell, but more kept coming. “OCEAN STREAMER! OCEAN STREAMER!”
Kazemon, Beetlemon, Agunimon and Kumamon fell. Lobomon, Lowemon and
Crystalmon were the only ones still standing. All Lucy could do was watch
her friends try in vain to save humanity. ‘Oh, I feel SO helpless. They are
all out their risking their necks, and I am just standing here, wasting air.
I wish I could do something, anything… Lucy closed her eyes and prayed for
some miracle to happen. Little did she know her wish was about to come true…

Out from the waves, a white glow emerged growing stronger. The Archelomon
flinched in it’s bright light. “What…what’s going on?” asked Agunimon. The
light moved towards Lucy. “No! Lucy!” screamed Crystalmon. “Get away from
it!” shouted Agunimon. Lucy couldn’t move. She just stood there, helpless.
‘Please, all I want is to help…’ The light formed a ball around Lucy.
EXECUTE! SPRITEVOLUTION! ………………………… HAZEMON!
Before the others, stood a girl with long hair and wings. Her face was
bright white so only her eyes were visible. ‘What? She sprit evolved? How
can this be? Kitty can also sprit evolve. Both must be the Forgotten
Warriors…’  thought J.P. “I am Hazemon. Crystalmon and myself are both
Forgotten Warriors. Cherubimon wiped out the memories of all the Digimon,
and hid the two sprits in different locations, hoping they would not arise
again. The Warrior of Stars, Crystalmon was found. Surprised as Cherubimon
was, he was glad the second warrior had not been found yet. Now, she has,
and with the twelve warriors reunited, no evil foreseen can stop us. VINES
OF LIFE!” with the newfound ally, the Legendary Warriors found new strength
to battle. Soon the Archelomon were destroyed and the beach was clear of
Digimon.

“Lucy! You were amazing!” said Takuya. “Yeah,” agreed Kitty, “now, you are
one of us – a Digidestined!” “It’s so great to be a Digimon. It is
just…amazing! And look at my detector! Green, pink and white! It’s
fantastic!” Lucy was now a Digidestined, with the sprit of the Legendary
Warrior of Life. ‘I feel part of the group now. I can relate to them about
turning into Digimon, but I wish I could have gone to the Digital World…’
The Detectors suddenly lit up and a voice sounded. “Digidestined…” “That is
Ophanimon!” said Kouji. It was Ophanimon, “Digidestined, listen. I have
grave news for you. The Digital World, complete as it may be, is under a new
threat. The darkness of Lucemon has left behind Three Dark Digimon. These
Digimon plan to destroy the Digital World and create a new one, as Lucemon
planned. They are part of him, and have his evil. They have darkened many
Digimon’s souls. Kerpymon, the purified Cherubimon, Seraphimon and myself
have tried to stop them, but in vain. The Digital World calls on you again.
Please help us.” The dark news bought grief onto the faces of the
Digidestined. “We will help, Ophanimon. Just tell us what to do.” Said
Takuya. “Thank you all. Lucy, you will also be needed this time,” Lucy
blushed, feeling like a team member at last, “Not only will you help, but
you must also together, find the new Digidestined. They have been chosen and
given a Digivice, but they know not what to do with them. It is up to you to
find them all and bring them to the Digital World. You must find 6 children.
When you have safely arrived, new instructions will be given.” “Ophanimon?”
asked Kitty. “Yes, Kitty?” “Um, why are there Digimon in the real world?”
“The Three Dark Digimon know of the Digidestined. You are the dark Digimon’s
targets. You must defeat them all and protect the other children until they
can help themselves.” “But,” asked J.P, “How will they fight with us? There
are no more sprits.” Everyone nodded. “You will all have new powers.
Unfortunately, the Three Dark Digimon have found a way to stop you Sprit
evolving. It will only work in the Digital World, but you will be in
danger.” Everyone was astonished. “How…can we still be any use then?” asked
Zoë. “We are working on the solution. We will tell you when you arrive until
then, find the other Digidestined.”  Everyone looked a bit better knowing
that a solution was ready. “Ophanimon, how will we know who the Digidestined
are?” asked Tommy. “That,” said Ophanimon, “Is simple. The Digidestined wear
either the necklace or watch of Essence Evolution. You will know them, I
trust you with that.” The Detectors went blank and Ophanimon’s voice was
gone.

“Beware Digidestined. We are ready. My sisters and I will defeat you. In the
name of Lord Lucemon, WE SHALL NOT FAIL!”
