Affiliate With Us
If you are a webmaster and you want to be affiliated with our site, these are the criteria. You can apply to be a top affiliate or an affiliate.
To be a top affiliate:
- Your site must be Digimon or Anime related.
- You must update your site frequently (once a week or more). (This requirement can be waived in the case of sites containing a lot of information.)
- Your site has to be more than just media or just a shrine, and it must have a decent amount of information (this is at our discretion).
- Your site can't take too long to load - not too much Flash or DHTML. (If you don't know what DHTML is, you're probably not using it.)
- Your site must not have more than one popup.
- Your site must be kid-friendly, so no strong language, porn or hentai.
- No "hate" sites.
- Your affiliate scheme must be a "button on every page" scheme. If it's a "button/link on one page only" scheme, check out the Link Exchange.
If you would like to be an affiliate, you must follow rules 1, 6, 7 and 8 above, you must update at least once a fortnight and you must have a decent amount of information (again, at our discretion).
PW does not take affiliates that are forums. However, we do take forum-forum affiliations.
If you think your site fits the criteria, email me at affiliate@patamon.tk and I'll get back to you ASAP. If I haven't replied within two weeks, register at the forums and private-message me (Jedi_Amara).
PW has a lot of affiliates, and I've tried to cut them back a bit, so you're most likely to be accepted if your site has a lot of content and a good layout, or if I know you well. I get a lot of requests from newbie sites that I have to turn down, because they have about five or ten pages and no layout to speak of. If I don't accept you to the affiliate program, there's always the link exchange, which is open-entry. If I'm affiliated with a site that doesn't update for a very long time (whether it's content or news) I'll also move them to the link exchange. Remember, it doesn't hurt to try - I know some people have been dissuaded from applying because PW seems to be a big site, but it really isn't.
You'll need a link button of 88x31 pixels if we accept your application. If you don't have one, no sweat - I can make you a button, just send your details. Or we can have a text-link affiliation.
You can also be a forum affiliate. If you want to affiliate with the forums, you should either meet the criteria above (for PW affiliation) or have a Digimon or Anime related forum. We will take forum-forum or site-forum affiliates. (The site-forum affiliation is good if you don't have or want your own forum.)
